The Bureau of Reclamation allocated another 5,000 acre-feet of CVP water to Tulare Irrigation District, and an additional 4,000 acre-feet was returned to the District from an exchange partner that won’t be calling on water this year.

With the additional 9,000 acre-feet, the District is increasing the delivery allocation from 0.52 to 0.60 acre-feet per acre, adding another week to the water run. The latest projection is to end the water run during the weekend of July 11^th-12^th.
