NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the Tulare Irrigation District will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the District office located at 6826 Avenue 240, Tulare, CA 93274.

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public input and comments on the District’s draft Agricultural Water Management Plan (AWMP). Following the public hearing, the Board of Directors may consider immediate formal adoption of the plan.

The draft AWMP evaluates District water supplies, operational conditions, and infrastructure activities, and outlines efficient water management practices designed to optimize water use efficiency within the District service area.

PUBLIC REVIEW: The draft AWMP is available for public inspection online at tulareid.org. A copy of the draft plan is also available for in-person review during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) at the Tulare Irrigation District office.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing to express their views or present oral testimony regarding the draft AWMP. Written comments may also be submitted to the District office at the address listed above prior to the close of the public hearing.
