The District Operations and Maintenance Department is under the supervision of Wayne Fox, District Superintendent.
Under the Guidance of Mr. Fox the District carries out daily operations and maintenance and construction activities, including:

• Maintenance and operation of over 300 miles of canal
• Maintenance and operation of approximately 30 miles of pipeline and culverts
• Herbicide application to District facilities
• Maintenance of groundwater recharge basins including grading, discing and weed abatement
• Canal turnout operation and maintenance
• Construction activities including concrete construction (vertical and horizontal construction), basin excavation, pipeline installation, electrical installations and fabricated metal construction
